SRS's 2016 ministry strategy is “Deep and Wide.” We are eager to see that fountain flow through Russia and to Russian speakers throughout the world.

Flowing Wide
Our New Church Plant near Moscow
Just last week the Kruzhkovs (Evgeniy, Saule and their children) moved to Moscow to plant a church with Pastor Yuri and his family of six. This church has great potential for reaching the 12 million people in the Moscow region.
Through generous gifts the Kruzhkovs have been able to build a house (see below) just north of Moscow, and are settling in while they raise money for final building requirements, like indoor water and plumbing.
The Romanovka Church Building Project
The church building of Pastor Ruslan and his wife, Olga, near Vladivostok (also possible through generous American support) now has a foundation and walls (see below).
Our annual Fall Intensive will be held November 14-25. Pastor Joshua Anderson, Pastor Toby Sumpter, and ministers of the Pacific Northwest Presbytery have been invited to come teach.
Between seminary sessions Blake sustains ongoing Skype mentorship for accountability, prayer and direction.
Visiting our Churches
Blake and Cathy plan to visit all of our field ministries in 2016. This will give an opportunity to visit pastors' families for counseling and encouragement, worship in their churches and observe their ministries. These travels will cover 9 time zones in the former USSR.
Support: Keeping SRS Deep and Wide
For these ministries to advance, we needed to raise $100,000 for the general fund of SRS by August 1, 2016. YESTERDAY WE RECEIVED THE NEWS THAT $20,000 HAD BEEN GIVEN THIS WEEK!! This means now we need to raise only $77,800 to fund the fall/spring intensive course, pay for travel to mentor pastors and their families and salaries for the seminary and part-time home office staff plus allow for a modest cash reserve for the future.
Please consider you or your church giving $1,000-$10,000 or more by August 1, 2016.
To meet these needs, give to the general fund at www.slavicreformationsociety.com/give, select general fund (the default) on the donation page. Or checks can be mailed to
