Happy Reformation Year! I’m Evgeni Kruzhkov, a dean of the Biblical Theological Seminary of St. Petersburg. Thanks to your generous support we were able to hold another intensive course. Fifteen ministers participated in it including four new students who came from cities that we have never reached before. Those cities are Saratov, Engels, Omsk and Slavgorod (pictured on the map below). March 2017. Seminary students, Eurasian pastors and staff after the last lecture by Rev. Blake Purcell. We called this intensive course "Celebration of the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation". Most of the subjects referred to the Reformation, its history and theology. We also covered the topics of Christian/Biblical Worldview and Pastoral Care. Meet our new students from far away! I found all our discussions on theology and faith very helpful. "Blake’s courses on Pastoral Care and Worldview have made me look through new eyes on creation and the work of God. I liked very much that we had to work with different books before the intensive course and then made oral reports on these books during the session." "Thank you for inviting the teacher from Ukraine [Sergei Sudakov] whose course on the History of Reformation was vivid and striking. "The course on leadership was very useful for me because I’m engaged in the youth ministry and this subject is familiar for me. To some extent, leadership is connected with psychology and pastoral care – that’s what I have been doing in my church recently".
