Our gallery of seminary events past and present.
The teachers at the Seminary try to make the intensive courses as current and interactive as possible. One way they did this in 2014 was by hosting a panel discussion on Russia's annexation of the Crimea. Pictured above is longtime friend of the Seminary, Constantine Ivanov (left), a dissident during Soviet Times; Valya Frolova, a civil rights lawyer (middle); and Father Alexei, a Russian Orthodox priest (right). Let's just say the panelists were not in agreement with one another.
The Seminary tries to teach through every major book of the Bible. Here, Dean of Students Evgeniy Kruzhkov is teaching through the book of Romans.
The Seminary requires the students to preach during morning devotionals and to do oral reports during class. Here, fourth-year student Ridon from Central Asia is preaching II Timothy 4.
The Seminary views its teaching as organically connected through the students' ministries in their churches. Here, pastors of the Seminary lay hands of blessing upon Ridon as he prepares to minister in a country where it is illegal to plant churches.
